ADVANCED AND RELIABLE

The advanced and reliable circuitry of the HTC4000 drives up to ±4.0 A with 0.0009°C temperature stability in a low profile package that can be mounted in a number of different ways.

Several HTC models are available: the HTC1500-62 drives up to ±1.5 A, and the HTC3000-62 drives up to ±3.0 A. These models are for use with 0.062″ thick printed circuit boards (PCBs). Other models are available for use with 0.031″ thick PCBS: HTC1500 (1.5 A) or HTC3000 (3 A).

VERSATILE AND EASY-TO-USE

The low profile package is ideal for designs with tight space constraints. The heatsink can be bolted directly to the HTC, or the module can be bolted directly to the equipment chassis to maximize space efficiency.

The HTC temperature controllers are easily configured for any design. Virtually any type of temperature sensor can be used with the HTC, and a built-in sensor bias current source simplifies use with resistive temperature sensors. The independently adjustable Proportional Gain (P) and Integrator Time Constant (I) can be modified to optimize temperature overshoot and stability.

PRACTICAL FEATURES
  • A single external resistor is used to set the output current limit, and an onboard voltage reference can be used with a potentiometer to control the temperature setpoint.
  • The HTC can be electrically connected to a 0.062″ thick PCB or by using a SIP connector and cable.
  • Monitor pins provide access to temperature setpoint voltage and actual sensor voltage.

Free, effective, and responsive technical support is available to simplify integration of Wavelength products into your OEM design. The standard product can be easily modified to meet your application requirements.
