Theย WHS302ย heatsink is designed for use with theย WTCP5V5A,ย WTC3243,ย WTC3243HB, orย WHY5640ย temperature controllers, and theย WLD3343,ย WLD3343-2L,ย WLD3343-3A,ย WLD3343-3Lย orย WLD3343HBย laser diode drivers.
The controllers operate to 500 mA without any additional heatsinking (assuming 5 V operation). To operate up to 1 A, add the thermal washerย WTW002, andย WHS302ย heatsink. To operate to the full 2.2 A, add a fanย WXC303ย (5 V) orย WXC304ย (12 V). For convenience, a kit with two 0.75″ and two 1″ screws is available:ย WXC305.
Kits combine these elements:ย WEV300ย (includes thermal washer, heatsink and screw kit),ย WEV301ย (includes thermal washer, heatsink, screw kit, and a +5 V fan) orย WEV302ย (includes thermal washer, heatsink, screw kit, and a +12 V fan).
