My QCL LAB isn’t working with the LabVIEW Virtual Instrument or the Command Set. Why?
Answer
If you are using the QCL LAB with firmware version 0.79 or earlier, it is remotely controlled using Wavelength’s QuickConnect Application (QCA).
If you are using the QCL LAB with firmware version 1.5 or later, it is remotely controlled using a Test and Measurement Class (TMC) compatible Command Set.
To determine which firmware version is installed on your instrument, with the rear and front panel power switches on, swipe the touchscreen from left to right to show the System Information screen.
You can upgrade the firmware for free to use the Command Set or VI here.

NOTE: If you upgrade from version 0.79 to version 1.5+, all calibration and user data will be converted and saved. If you downgrade from version 1.5+ to version 0.79, all existing calibration data will be lost.
