Is it possible to have access to the potentiometer of the MPT5000 (temperature setpoint adjust, p-gain adjust) from the outside? We plan to use the MPT5000 for an integration in a laser controller for control with a front panel.
Answer
The trim pots can be removed from the MPT and wires can be attached and connected to front-panel trim pots. This unit also has an analog input for setting the temperature set point independently from the on-board trim pot.
