Job Summary

Wavelength Electronics designs and manufactures precision electronics for critical semiconductor Laser Systems.  Our drivers are used in challenging applications like surgery, medical tests, dangerous chemical detectors, climate research – and other technology that significantly improves lives.  What we do matters in the world.

We’re looking for someone to tap into opportunities to grow sales.  Our well-established Customer Service team has earned sales through excellent customer service and strong relationships with customers and international distributors.  They have built a high level of trust and integrity with existing clients.  You will manage the business interests of existing accounts, develop new accounts, and grow sales. Some travel is required to key industry events and client locations.

Key Result

Continuously grow existing accounts and develop new accounts to achieve sales goals.

Key Objectives

  • Develop and execute account management strategies to grow business with established clients and new potential clients.
  • Build rapport with clients such that you can collect strategic data from the decision makers.
  • Document the opportunity pipeline accurately so we can forecast sales and guide new product development.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers, strengthening long term relationships and customer loyalty. Position Wavelength as part of their team.
  • Convert leads to new accounts.

Education & Experience

  • Requires a BS degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years experience in B2B account management
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing customer portfolios in technical sales environments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete documentation to a high standard.
  • Understands optical systems and how electronics affect performance. Can troubleshoot systems involving semiconductor laser control electronics at a high level.
  • Proficient with CRM tools for opportunity tracking and forecasting accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $110k to $130k (base + commission)
