It delays and slowly ramps the current for maximum protection. Supply up to 3.0 A of current to your laser diode from a single +5 V power source.\u00a0 An evaluation board is available to simplify prototyping: <a title=\"WLD33ND-3AEV\" href=\"\/product\/evaluation-pcb-for-wld33nd-3a-3l-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> WLD33ND-3AEV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An internal thermostat shuts down the WLD safely if the device temperature exceeds 105\u00b0C. This device operates to 45\u00b0C ambient temperature. Remotely enable or disable current. Current range is scaled by an external resistor.<\/p>\n<p>For 2.2 A operation, the <a title=\"WLD33ND\" href=\"\/product\/wld33nd-2-2-a-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> WLD33ND<\/a> is available. These drivers have noise above 45 \u00b5A. To drive with lower noise in Constant Current Mode only, the <a title=\"WLD33ND-2L\" href=\"http:\/\/www.teamwavelength.com\/maintenance\/product\/wld33nd-2-2-a-lower-noise-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> WLD33ND-2L<\/a> and <a title=\"WLD33ND-3L\" href=\"http:\/\/www.teamwavelength.com\/maintenance\/product\/wld33nd-3-a-lower-noise-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> WLD33ND-3L<\/a> drive up to 2.2 A and 3 A, respectively. A circuit calculator tool speeds selection of external component values (see Design Tools tab). Heatsinking solutions to use the WLD33ND-3A at full current are available.<\/p>\n<p>This laser diode driver is ideal for applications where space is tight.
