It is designed for lower noise operation compared to the standard\u00a0<a title=\"WLD33ND-3A\" href=\"\/product\/wld33nd-3-a-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD33ND-3A<\/a>. It delays and slowly ramps the current for maximum protection. Supply up to 3.0 A of current to your laser diode from a single +5 V power source.\u00a0 An evaluation board is available to simplify prototyping:\u00a0<a title=\"WLD33ND-3AEV\" href=\"\/product\/evaluation-pcb-for-wld33nd-3a-3l-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD33ND-3AEV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An internal thermostat shuts down the WLD safely if the device temperature exceeds 105\u00b0C. This device operates to 45\u00b0C ambient temperature. Remotely enable or disable current. Current range is scaled by an external resistor.<\/p>\n<p>For Constant Power mode, 2.2 or 3\u00a0A operation, the\u00a0<a title=\"WLD33ND\" href=\"\/product\/wld33ND-2-2-a-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD33ND<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a title=\"WLD33ND3A\" href=\"\/product\/wld33nd-3-a-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD33ND-3A<\/a>\u00a0are available. To drive with lower noise in Constant Current Mode only, the\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343-2L\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-2-2-a-lower-noise-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD3343-2L<\/a> drives up to 2.2\u00a0A. A circuit calculator tool speeds selection of external component values (see Design Tools tab). Heatsinking solutions to use the WLD33ND-3L at full current are available.<\/p>\n<p>This laser diode driver is ideal for applications where space is tight.
