It is designed for lower noise operation compared to the standard\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-2-2-a-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WLD3343<\/a>. It delays and slowly ramps the current for maximum protection. Supply up to 2.2\u00a0A of current to your laser diode from a single +5\u00a0V power source.<\/p>\n<p>An internal thermostat shuts down the WLD safely if the device temperature exceeds 105\u00b0C. Remotely enable or disable current. Zero leakage current allows operation with VCSELs. Current range is scaled by an external resistor.<\/p>\n<p>To operate from 3.6\u00a0V (for Lithium-Ion batteries) try the\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343HB\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343hb-2-2a-li-battery-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WLD3343HB<\/a>. For 2.2 or 3\u00a0A operation in Constant Current or Constant Power mode, the\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-2-2-a-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WLD3343<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343-3A\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-3-a-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WLD3343-3A<\/a>\u00a0are available. To drive with lower noise up to 3 a in Constant Current Mode only, the\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343-3L\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-3-a-lower-noise-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WLD3343-3L<\/a>\u00a0is available. A circuit calculator tool speeds selection of external component values (see Design Tools tab). An evaluation board is available to simplify prototyping:\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3393\" href=\"\/product\/evaluation-pcb-for-wld3343-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WLD3393<\/a>.
