It is designed for lower noise operation compared to the standard\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343-3A\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-3-a-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD3343-3A<\/a>. It delays and slowly ramps the current for maximum protection. Supply up to 3.0\u00a0A of current to your laser diode from a single +5\u00a0V power source.<\/p>\n<p>An internal thermostat shuts down the WLD safely if the device temperature exceeds 105\u00b0C. This device operates to 45\u00b0C ambient temperature. Remotely enable or disable current. Current range is scaled by an external resistor.<\/p>\n<p>For Constant Power mode, 2.2 or 3\u00a0A operation, the\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-2-2-a-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD3343<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343-3A\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-3-a-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD3343-3A<\/a>\u00a0are available. To drive with lower noise in Constant Current Mode only, the\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3343-2L\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-2-2-a-lower-noise-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD3343-2L<\/a>\u00a0drives up to 2.2\u00a0A. A circuit calculator tool speeds selection of external component values (see Design Tools tab). An evaluation board is available to simplify prototyping:\u00a0<a title=\"WLD3393\" href=\"\/product\/evaluation-pcb-for-wld3343-laser-diode-driver\/\">WLD3393<\/a>. Ask for the 3\u00a0A current range when ordering the evaluation board. Heatsinking solutions to use the\u00a0WLD3343-3L\u00a0at full current are available.<\/p>\n<p>This laser diode driver is ideal for applications where space is tight.
