It delays and slowly ramps the current for maximum protection. Supply up to 3.0\u00a0A of current to your laser diode from a single +5\u00a0V power source.<\/p>\n<p>An internal thermostat shuts down the WLD safely if the device temperature exceeds 105\u00b0C. This device operates to 45\u00b0C ambient temperature. Remotely enable or disable current. Current range is scaled by an external resistor.<\/p>\n<p>For 2.2 A operation, the <a title=\"WLD3343\" href=\"\/product\/wld3343-2-2-a-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> WLD3343<\/a> is available. These drivers have noise above 45 \u00b5A. To drive with lower noise in Constant Current Mode only, the <a title=\"WLD3343-2L\" href=\"http:\/\/www.teamwavelength.com\/maintenance\/product\/wld3343-2-2-a-lower-noise-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> WLD3343-2L<\/a> and <a title=\"WLD3343-3L\" href=\"http:\/\/www.teamwavelength.com\/maintenance\/product\/wld3343-3-a-lower-noise-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> WLD3343-3L<\/a> drive up to 2.2 A and 3 A, respectively. A circuit calculator tool speeds selection of external component values (see Design Tools tab). An evaluation board is available to simplify prototyping: <a title=\"WLD3393\" href=\"http:\/\/www.teamwavelength.com\/maintenance\/product\/evaluation-pcb-for-wld3343-laser-diode-driver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> WLD3393<\/a>. Ask for the 3 A current range when ordering the evaluation board.
