The epoxy-coating ensures durability and protects against exposure to moisture, high and low pressure, and corrosive environments. It has solid nickel wires with Teflon\u00ae insulation to provide isolation when assembled in metal housings.<\/p>\n<p><b>Dissipation Constant<\/b> is ~1 mW \/ \u00b0C in still air.<br \/>\n<b>Thermal Time Constant<\/b> is ~1 second in stirred liquid.<\/p>\n<p>It is ideal for sensing temperature when embedded in materials or small laser packages.
