The SOA (Safe Operating Area) curve combines the current, voltage and power limit effects for a product. The curve illustrates the unsafe operating area where a product can be damaged due to thermal stress on the output power stage.This tool will allow you to draw the SOA curve for a Wavelength Electronics product and, optionally, to also draw the load line for your specific application to easily determine whether your application falls within the safe operating area.
